RARE BLUE COLUMBIA CLAYTON, JACKSON & JIMMY DURANTE
This is the premiere example of a young successful vaudeville trio at their best! Jimmy Durante's enduring career started out as part of CLAYTON, JACKSON AND DURANTE. This is their ONLY RECORDING and Jimmy Durante's first record as a vocalist! Columbia 1860-D, recorded in New York City on May 9, 1929, they perform "CAN BROADWAY DO WITHOUT ME?" and "SO I UPS TO HIM."
So it's all here! Classic vaudeville, a major entertainer of the 20th Century's first record AND a gorgeous Blue Columbia pressing in excellent condition.

GRADING: We are using the following scale based on VJM Grading:
N (Nearly New) May have been played but has no visible signs of wear or damage.
E+ (Excellent Plus) Almost like new, solid gloss with very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs.
E (Excellent) Still shiny with slight signs of wear, a few scuffs and light scratches or rubs.
E-. (Excellent Minus) Still shiny without the lustre of a new record, surface shows slight minor faults, but no heavy scratches digs or gouges.
V+ (Very Good) Average condition 78 in which use has somewhat dulled the finish. Wear is moderate with some scuffs, scratches or rubs.
V (Good) General wear throughout, with noticeable scuffs, scratches and rubs. Still very playable.
V- (Fair) Heavy graying, original gloss gone. Has been played often, lots of scratches, scuffs, digs and other damage.
G (Poor) Seriously worn and scratched.
