Description

Barbecue Bob, The Georgia Blues Vol. 1 (Kokomo K-1002) (1968).

Kokomo was a small collector-run UK label of the late '60s that released half a dozen or so LPs, reissuing rare old blues 78s, in limited editions of 99 copies each. From that series comes this compilation of 1927-30 recordings by the Georgia blues-singer and 12-string guitarist Barbecue Bob.

Condition: disc excellent. Jacket slightly creased at one corner but otherwise excellent. Rare. (To the best of the seller's knowledge, only one copy of this LP has come up on eBay in the last decade or so.)
