Various Artists, Lets Go Down South (Neshoba N-11) (1968?).
"Post War Blues As Sung From Memphis Down To Dallas"--16 rare downhome blues recordings from the late '40s and '50s by Baby Face Turner, Charley Booker, Clarence London, Lost John Hunter, Joe Hill Louis, D. A. Hunt, Dr Ross, Country Paul and Big Charley Bradix. Produced by English collector John G. Allinson. Notes by Mike Leadbitter. Issued on a small UK collectors' label, and pressed in a limited edition of 99 copies.
Condition: disc excellent, with no visible signs of wear or damage. Jacket has light ringwear and wear on edges and corners, and some grubby marks on back. Rough patch on front where a price-sticker was removed. Some yellowing on spine. "23.8.68" written neatly in ballpoint in one corner on the back. A good copy of this extremely rare item.
