Description
Up for auction is another one of my rare Beatles' 1966 Capitol Records T-2553 "Yesterday and Today" BUTCHER COVER 2nd State UNPEELED cover and vinyl LP!!! All ORIGINAL as you can clearly see from the pictures...I will not bore you with the history of this iconic American Beatles' Record collectible...you know the story....Please study the pics carefully for condition...No tears on the butcher slick.. a small piece of the trunk slick has been removed at top right corner to reveal the butcher...no damage that I can tell....small black marker spot where indicated....the trunk slick was glued alittle off center so you can see the butcher slick under the trunk slick in bottom left....a thin layer of trunk slick removed at bottom left corner also as seen in pic, no damage to butcher slick...top seam split about 2" from mouth....side seam split all the way......bottom seam split about 2" from mouth....back cover has usual wear, soiling, spots, etc that you see on may covers so look at the pics carefully and judge with your own eyes....records in good condition with typical wear, scratches, scuffs typically seen on the record...Labels look pretty good as you can see.....West coast number #6 here with the appropriate vinyl (asterisk pressed in trail off area)....this is a cool piece and ready to peel if you dare....Arguably the 2nd state covers are becoming rarer than the peeled job because of the number of peels.....No inner sleeve.....comes from smoke free envoirnment......Highest bid over $150.00 WINS!!!!
