Description
* RARE * Beatles Magical Mystery Tour Mono LP on Capitol label MAL-2835. First pressing with rare label on cover that says 'Specially imported by EMI records....etc'. Sleeve is in good condition, contains booklet which is in good condition but has become unglued from the sleeve and has torn where the staples are. List of tracks on sleeve has subtitle ("No you're not!" said Little Nicola) in non-italic text after 'I am the walrus' (Track 6 on side 1). Later pressings had that subtitle in italics. Vinyl in very good condition and both sides play very well with almost no crackling or background noise. Labels show number as MAL-2835 and in brackets MAL-X-1-2835 & MAL-X-2-2835 on sides 1 & 2 respectively. In the runouts is MALV-1-2835-F9 on each side and this looks as if it has been etched on rather than printed. This is a very rare mono album since far fewer were pressed than the stereo version. Please view the photographs to appreciate this lovely album, which was bought new by my wife at the time of its release.
