Up for bid is this rare import vinyl LP record released in Taiwan on August 25, 1969. This double album (LM-2237 and LM-2238 was released on the Liming Record label and contains the songs included on the Beatles’ “White Album”. These early imported records from Taiwan have light weight paper sleeves (not as thick as the cardboard sleeves that came with record albums in the United States and Europe) with plastic covering the outside as well as the inside where the record is kept. This cover is complete and in generally good condition. There is a tear in the plastic/paper sleeve along the top front edge of the first album. There is another small tear in part of the outer plastic along the front upper side edge of the front cover. The album itself is in excellent condition with only a few minor light scratches (visually checked only, not played), which is amazing for something this old. This is from a Vietnam War veteran’s collection that he purchased while stationed in Vietnam in the 1960s. Truly a rare find and something you will want to add to your vintage LP album collection.
