Description
This is an auction of a VERY RARE Sir George Solti (with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the John Alldis Choir) conducts Bizet's Carmen - Featuring Placido Domingo and Tatiana Troyanos. This very rare MFSL 3-530 3 LP box set is an even rarer Promo copy (likely one of the first pressings produced - stampers are A-9, B-20, C-10, D-17, E-20, F-14 for sides 1 thru 6 respectively) with a 36 page booklet - Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs original half-speed mastered recording - a long OOP audiophile gem. Records are NM. Covers are NM. Outer box is VG+ - mainly there is a light rub mark on the back and on the front right above the 'R' in original there is a ding. Includes the NM booklet. This is a PROMO version that has no number on the back - in it's spot is a very small bb hole - each individual cover has a very small bb hole at the lower left corner as well.
Records will be packaged professionally for shipment.
Shipping price includes tracking and insurance. Overseas customers, please don't ask me to falsify customs forms.
Thanks and good luck!
