Blind Willie Johnson 78 " Jesus Make Up My Dying Bed/I Know His Blood Cam Make Me Whole" Columbia #14276-D ("Race" series) 78 RPM 1920s. Gospel/Blues record. Fairly rare and hard to find. Books for up to $75.00 in some guides. The record has some scratches and scuffs on both sides. One side has some scratches that can be felt but nothing terrible. The other side has one long scratch that can be felt and is a bit deeper and a few other lighter ones. I played both sides and it plays OK with some background "sizzling" and "crackling". No skips, hesitations, "thumps", etc. His voice is gravelly but it comes though fairly well. His guitar is much softer but it can be heard. With the right equipment you can clean it up somewhat. The labels are mostly good with some surface wear and light scratches. I only charge actual shipping. No handling. NOTE: Check out my Ebay store. I have many other books for sale along with records and new items as well. Many have a "Make an Offer" on them. Check them out and make me an offer! Buyer pays Priority shipping (recommended) to be determined by your Zip Code. Priority ONLY on 78s. Foreign to be determined. If you want insurance, it is 1.30 for up to 50.00 coverage. More if over 50.00. On some items that I sell insurance is REQUIRED. (And sometimes Delivery Confirmation).
