ATTENTION COLLECTORS . . .RARE 1974 Boxcar Label Elvis Talking Album
I was given this album as a gift. A few weeks ago I decided to go through and sell some of my old records. Found out that these Boxcar label records were only issued at Elvis concerts for about 1 1/2 months before RCA caught wind of it. They threatened litigation, so the "Colonel" pulled the LP and RCA, by October, had reworked the cover and label and then released it under the RCA label. After researching, I realized that this is a very rare album and especially difficult to find in such good condition. It is a talking album only, no music. The cover still has shrink wrap on it and is in near mint condition and the vinyl is VG+. I've seen these albums go for $300 online. The grading is just my opinion after doing a bit of research. International shipping and fees (which I've discovered run around $12-$20) will be calculated according to destination and will be the buyers responsibility.
