Description
For Buy it now is the Rare and saught after Carpenters Offering LP original 1969 album, in Near mint condition, almost flawless condition. The cover and vinyl were visually graded but plays like a gem. This is the album that was the Carpenters debut, but was taken off the shelves soon after, by A&M execs....replacing with the much more common " Ticket To Ride" LP, using the same songs but with a sailboat scene cover. This original however, depicts the duo, Richard and younger sister Karen Carpenter, as " zombies " as well as Karen's complaints that the photo made her look like a nun! Anyway...it became an instant collectors item, and many call this the Carpenters "Butcher Cover" ....this copy listed here is just a shade less than a sealed copy, and right now, the best copy you're gonna find on eBay! Trying to find a factory shrinked copy let alone a sealed one is next to impossible. The only flaw is the inner paper sleeve, which has a slight tear from the disk cutting through it, but otherwise overall an exquisite copy. Oh and that is glare and Shrink wrap reflection you see in the picture, NOT flaws in the cover!. Please grab it before it goes. Priced to sell. With best offer option.
With Buy it now option ONLY (that means buy it at full buy it now price): (Pictured)--I will include a Sealed ORIGINAL copy of A Song For You with Rare hype sticker, a Sealed Original Copy of Passage with Rare hype sticker and a near mint copy of Close To You with "We've Only Just Begun" hype sticker. This is an awesome deal folks....please take advantage of this great deal now. You'll never find it like this again!
