MONSTER 2 SIDER HOLY GRAIL! KILLER EAST COAST DOO WOP 45 

This particular record was released in limited quantity by a small Upstate NY record label named "Ducky" owned by Fred Blassie in 1959...stock copies of this record are considerably more rare and more valuable than White label Promo copies are because Blassie prioritized the pressing of the white label promo copies and sent them to many radio stations etc hoping the record would get picked up for airplay (which turned out to be unsuccessful unfortunately) Therefore only a limited amount of blue label "stock copies" were manufactured as there was no demand for supply; in 1959 the record was under appreciated and overlooked. (Remarkable how the passing of time turns the tables on us - we're now in the year 2025 and this record is still high up on many Doo Wop collector's "Want List's)

Overall Grading: VG+  
"Conservative" Grading: Strong VG 

as a full time 45rpm record dealer I am aware some Doo Wop collectors are quite picky and particular when it comes to condition and I could foresee that one would argue its more of a "strong VG" or (" VG/VG+ " if you will) 

in all my hundreds of record sales / deals / affairs that transpire annually...I RARELY get rebuttals against my grading and I'd have no problem grading this record as VG+ and i'm of the firm mind VG+ is a safe grade despite it's minor flaws which I will now state: 

The record has light label ring wear on both sides, with some tiny blotches of ink on the "Just" side. 

There are light "paper" marks on both sides of this record. No deep marks and no feelable marks. There are two small COMPLETELY INAUDIBLE "fingernail" marks on the "I Love You So Side" .  

High gloss and sheen to both sides of the record as well. 

PLAYGRADE:

 "Just For A Little While" plays fantastic - loud and clear  - "I Love You So" has very minor surface / pressing noise present in the beginning that is GREATLY OVERPOWERED by the music -

Grading is entirely subjective, of course. Therefore however you'd like to perceive this record I'm offering for sale; keep in mind it is a fantastic playing original stock copy of an extremely rare record containing two fantastic songs in more than decent visual condition, with a more than acceptable play grade .
