In order of highest prices, here are some recent sales, or offers, of a wide assortment of Christmas-related records, from 1919 to 2014:
$16,000: "Elvis' Christmas Album" (1957). Red vinyl, experimental pressing (LP).
(RCA Victor LOC-1035)
$12,000: "Elvis Presley - Special Christmas Programming" (1967). Promotional issue, self-contained 30-minute program. Vinyl edition was sent to a handful of major market radio stations, with most stations getting the show on pre-recorded reel-to-reel tapes (LP).
(RCA Victor UNRM-5697)
$3,500:"It's Almost Christmas"/"Look What I've Found" - The Dippers Quintet with Van Perry's Combo (1955) (45 single).
(Flayr Records 500)
$3,500: "The Beatles Christmas Album" (1970). Contains all seven of the Christmas greetings, originally distributed from 1963-1969 on flexi-discs to Beatles fan clubs. Never commercially available, other than through fan clubs (LP).
