A Rare Edith Piaf 78 RPM Album Set from Decca Records. "Chansons Des Cafes de Paris. 6 Sides. FO 1685. Album No. DU-697 Deccalite Unbreakable Under Normal Use. Recorded in France with Raymond Legrand and His Orchestra. Made in USA. 1948. The songs are: 1. Les Cloches Sonnent. 440051 some hiss & pops. No skips. Label clean, and shiny as is the record itself. 2. Si Tu Partais. 40051 Some background noise, hiss & pops, few light scratches to surface. No skips. 3. Le Geste 40052 some background moise hiss & pops. Few smudges. No skips. 4. Monsieur Ernest A. Reussi 40052 background noise, no skips. 5. Monsieur X. 40053 some background noise. No skips. 6. Amour De Mois DeMai 40053. light surface noise, ticks. few smudges clean sound on vocals. No skips. All the labels are clean with the Decca maroon and gold colors. Came in a album case that has been pretty well ruined. Tape on bottom of one slipcase the rest are solid. No cover and worn spine. Just barely solid, but original. Played the records on an old protable player so the sound is listed as best I heard it. No skips. Uusal background noise found on old 78s.
