Description

This is the extremely rare 1956 7" 45rpm single 'BLUE MOON' b/w 'I DON'T CARE IF THE SUN DON'T SHINE' by ELVIS PRESLEY on the mauve/gold HMV label cat# POP-272.  The labels are in an Near Mint condition (The B-side label is slightly better still than the A-side). There is no spindle marking that I can see.  The vinyl itself is in a Near Mint condition - viewed under a strong light there is one non-sounding (and VERY light) 'paper' mark on the B-side and one light non-sounding 'scuff' mark on the A-side. The disc plays beautifully.  Please study the scans. Please note that the white 'flecks' that are visible on the disc are due to the scanning process and are not present on the disc.  This disc has been thoroughly play-tested on a CITRONIC PD-1 deck with a lightweight tone-arm.
