Description

This is a demo record  of“Wooden Heart”pressed in 1961 by Decca Records on behalf of RCA and was released in February 1961 and was Elvis' 7th No.1. This was pressed as a "knock out centre" and is printed on a dark green label. The label shows UK Catalogue number and the studio recording matrix number. The songs were recorded 27/28th April 1960 at RCA Studios, Hollywood. Approximately 100 copies were pressed and sent out to Radio Luxembourg / BBC Radio disc jockeys. The DJ has writen the time on the label in wax so it can be rubbed off if you wish. The vinyl/sound quality is excellent considering it is 45 years old. A really good collector’s item.
