Description
This is a much sought after demo record of “U.S Maleâ€pressed in 1968 by Decca Records on behalf of RCA Victor Records. This was pressed as a "knock out centre" and is printed on a dark green label. The label shows the actual release date of "19th May1968" and the UK Catalogue No and the USA equivalent. The "b" side is "Stay Away", and both songs were recorded on the 16th Jan 1968 at RCA Studios Nashville. Approximately 100 copies pressed and sent out to Radio Luxembourg / BBC Radio disc jockeys but as Elvis was "going out of fashion" in 1968, not many were kept. The vinyl is very clean/sound quality is excellent. A really great collector’s item from 1968 especially if you are into collecting Elvis demos.
