Again, we have another scarce Elvis Presley Record to offer. It is the very FIRST Gold Standard Series Record from the KING himself ! There are 2 SPECIAL Things about this Issue. FIRST: The COVER here is the VERY FIRST VERSION. The RCA Company produced the Cover in a HURRY ! Please look at the Photo. The Title "A Touch of Gold". The Word "of" was squished in the left Border, instead of putting it between the Words "Touch" and "Gold". It´s unbelievable, that this came to the Dealers. A few Days later they noticed their Mistake and made the corrected Version, which is, of course much more common. SECOND: The RECORD is the RARE MAROON Label Version. Not many were made. The Standard Version was with the well known Black Label. And now to the Condition: The Cover has, as you can see, on the left Border red Tape residue. The Tape was removed and I don´t understand why it was there, because there is NO Split ! But on the Bottom is a half Inch Split, that`s all. I call it a VG. The Record has a few scratches, but plays fine on both Sides. The Label: It´s a shame, some Idiot has written two Names on both Sides, later it was tried (not by me) to remove it. It surely is better now, but the Names are still visible. I call it a STRONG VG. Anyway, this Record is a RARITY in any Condition and highly sought. This is A MUST FOR THE REAL ELVIS FAN !
