Description
Here is a COOL roots of rock album that has been finely preserved and offered up for sale: The 1957 Lp album "Teen Time", featuring America's favorite teen Ricky Nelson. This compilation album released 1957 by Verve records was Ricky's first appearance on a 12 inch record album and pre dates his "Ricky" album on Imperial records. This is an original Mono pressing with the blue & siilver labels. Ricky sings three tracks including Fats Domino's "I'm Walkin'" which became a hit for Ricky! Another interesting note is that Jeff Allen sings Buddy Holly's "That'll be the Day" a full two years before Buddy Holly's tragic early death in 1959.
The record grades EX, super clean and glossy, near Pristine, one light mark that does not effect play, PLAY TESTED, and plays with excellent sound quality! First pressing black labels look great!
The cover rates EX, is clean & crisp! very little real visible wear, only flaw is top seam neatly repaired with clear tape (very unnoticeable) , binder edge EX & readable, no signatures or writing, NO ring wear & has been well cared for and fantastically preserved! (see all photos)
Album will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record box with a tracking. The vinyl will be shipped in inner sleeves outside cover to prevent cover splits.
