Description
This is a rare Edison Diamond Disc "Special Record" of the Drury High School Band of North Adams, Massachusetts. They play "Soldier Boy" and "On To Panama". They were the largest high school band in the country at the time. They were recorded on April 2nd 1924 while the band was in New York City on a promotional visit, where they also played on the radio, had a parade, and gave a concerts. Only 300 of these discs were pressed. The label for "On To Panama" is missing, but thankfully there is a photo of it online (the final photo shown).
