From 1971, out of Georgia, comes the rare folk psych record by Roger Rubin and Rotfree Anderson entitled Atlanta Underground - Freek Music on Purple Haze Records 1-71. Tonight's MONSTER record of the group that I have listed! It is an unusual and good folk psych record. It has such songs as Redneck Woman, Masters Of Society, and Heavy, you have an idea of where they're heading! They feel alienated by society and are lashing out in their lyrics. Their best song, which takes up more than a half of Side 2, is called Hallucinate.Sounds like a drug trip done by acoustic guitars! Never issued with a rare cover, it is small private press of 150. There is a modest reserve on this record! Corner bangs, some light browning in the white areas of the cover slick, this is a great LP! VG++ cover and mint minus record!!!
