Description

RARE Jacqueline Taieb single ' Tonight I'm Going Home' / '7a.m.'

FREAKBEAT

On offer here is a very rare copy of the Jacqueline Taieb Freakbeat single 'Tonight I'm Going Home' / '7.A.M'. The single is on the blue Fontana label and the catalogue number is TF 952.

Jacqueline Taieb cut the impressive mod-freakbeat outing '7 A.M.' (which namesakes Paul McCartney) as the B-side to a pleasant ballad 'Tonight I'm Going Home'. Taieb recorded at least one album which was only released in France. Incidentally, she is one of only two female artists with a strong freakbeat connection.

The disc is in NM condition! The vinyl is stunning and retains all of its original shine. The only mark I can see on the disc is one very light scuff that can only be seen under a light.

The labels are in NM+ condition. They're both clean, crisp and clear with no visible spindlewear! The centrehole still has plastic fragments inside it which suggests to me that it's only ever been played a couple of times ever, if that!

Comes in an original Fontana company sleeve that's in VG+ condition.

Taken from the Rare Record Price Guide book.

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertisied as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
