NM = A 'Near Mint' record or sleeve be flawless.
EX = An 'Excellent' record and sleeve may have only a few light superficial surface marks.
VG+ = A 'Very Good +' record shows cosmetic signs of handling but nothing that affects play. Sleeve is creased or shows ring wear.
VG = A 'Very Good' record has some surface noise and small scratches, but no skips or pops. Sleeve has multiple flaws (sticker pull, split seam, ring wear).
