Description

Nice copy of this infamous rare funk 7".  Great party tune with a fantastic break!

Started life as a publicity record in the 1970's for 7eleven who wanted to advertise their newest drink: THE SLURPEE!!!  The track was rediscovered and hunted down by the funk empresarios Dj shadow and Cut chemist and was the basis for the whole funk phenomenon Brainfreeze!!! (if you have it, check the inlay-picture of them both holding up the very same 7" !!)

the other side is a completely accapella collection of spoof, chuckle-worthy interviews about the strange things that happen when you drink slurpees. good for scratching etc.

Vinyl is in VG+ condition with really light surface noise at begining, inaudable when tune kicks in...no deep scratches or skips, plays like a dream!!
