Description

Here's another great garage cover band out of Iowa, Johnny and The Rebs, "The Rebs Break Through 1968 A.D."  This is on the Fredlo label out of Davenport, Iowa,6830.  Hard to find album and not that many copies out there--I have played both sides, and there are a lot of skips due to the scratches.  Vinyl is shiny enough but care was not taken back in the day.  The first side skips worse than the second side; a few cuts do not skip at all.  I do not have professional equipment to know if any of this can be corrected.  I have played the record on an audio technia turntable.  The voices are still clear, not muffled; it's the darn skips and the background crackle that are the problem.  Side A:  My Back Pages; Lady 'M'; Medley:  Up On A Roof; Could Be We're In Love; Spooky; Give Me Some Lovin'.  Side B:  Summertime Blues; A Walk At Dawn;  Mony Mony; Sugar and Spice; Dream Dream; Chains.  Email any questions!
