Description
A rare and sought-after classical music record gem :
Rimsky-Korsakov : Scheherazade op.35
played by the Paris Conservatoire Orchestra
conducted by Ernest Ansermet
Released 1959 in the UK on the Decca Stereo label, catalogue number : SXL 2086
First pressing with original inner sleeve, light blue ribbon on the back side of the cover, the original Decca Stereo-Phonic ffrr sign, and wide band groove !
Record is in VG conditon, shows some some very thin surface marks, plays fine with occasional soft background noise
Cover is in VG- condition, has minimal ring wear, some edge creasing, original lamination is starting to get loose at some spots, all in all still in good shape.
