Description
This is a RARE Radio Spot Announcement Record from the Elvis Presley’s 1965 movie GIRL HAPPY on an M-G-M record.
Radio stations would use these to records to promote Elvis’ latest movie, usually dubbing them to a cartridge tape for playback on the air, the throwing away the record. Most of the Elvis movie spot records didn't survive.
There are four separate cuts on this record and each of the spots features Elvis singing excerpts from the songs he sings in the movie.
The record grades a little better than VG, with light surface noise throughout and some ticks and pops – but the announcements can be heard clearly.
There is hand writing on the label (see picture).
This is a one-sided 10-inch record that is blank on the other side and is stored inside a brown, generic paper sleeve.
