Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Because of that dedication, there should be no need to open a resolution dispute before working with us. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING: USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire. CLEAN 1971 ORIGINAL British issue!
Contains the original printed Harvest label inner sleeve featuring photos on both sides of the legendary progressive acts signed to Harvest!
Great and CLEAN 1971 original British pressing on Harvest Records, by East Of Eden. "New Leaf" is the groups hard to find '71 release, sought, collected and respected as an early underground progressive hippie band who managed to issue several important albums, none better than "New Leaf" -- released only in England in an attractive "Hipgnosis" styled gatefold cover.
Released in England (only) in 1971, East Of Eden had an unexpected top ten UK hit with "Jig-A-Jig" early in 1971. By that time they had undergone various changes in personnel and musical approach, though they were still led by group leader Dave Arbus (who guested on The Who's "Baba O'Riley" the same year). New Leaf was originally issued that November and found the band in fine form with a mixture of progressive rock.
"New Leaf" contains the brilliant opening cut, 'Bradshaw The Bison Hunter',which is worth admission price alone. This was to be the multi-instrumentalist's Dave Arbus' last album for EAST OF EDEN, a famed UK underground progressive band that began in the late '60s and released their great first LP, Mercator Projector" in 1968.
This -4th album- from East O Eden is another blaster of good progressive rock with their signature heady violin accents, at times reminding of High Tide, but more progressive. On the other hand, a track like "Home blues" could might as well be written by Jimi Hendrix !
