Description

VINTAGE LP

ARTIST: Tin Penny
TITLE: Cycles
LABEL: Silver Crest - private label
SPEED: 33 1/3 LP
CONDITION VINYL: NM
CONDITION COVER: VG+ has slight rippling along the back right edge where glue has loosened

Just a few words about this one owner (me) LP - I saw the 'rock opera' live in 1971 and it was a fantastic experience! The vinyl can't capture everything the audience was feeling but reproduces the music well. The principals from this band have all had success in their own right. Bob Christianson won an Emmy for his music for ABC Sports as well as composing music for the original Sex and the City TV show and other HBO projects. Drummer Gary Burke has played with Bob Dylan and Joe Jackson among many others. Fred Serfis is still playing in a band in the North Country of NY. Michael Harron who did the artwork for the cover passed away in 2011 from cancer but had settled in PA and did a lot of theatre work as an actor, producer, director, and musician.

If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. I ship out by the next business day after item is paid for. See below for my grading.

NM - should look and play like new

VG+ - might have some light scuffs or scratches but sounds great.

VG - might have several light scratches that cause some clicks/pops
