Very rare Original 1994 US 1st pressing with Original Back Cover of the jacket that has Ernie from Sesame Street. This version was quickly pulled from the shelves after it was released because of copyright issues due to the Ernie figure on the back.

The jacket is in really good condition with only a few light signs of wear that I have done my best to highlight with close up photos(please look at all photos to get a good idea of actual condition). There are a couple of small creases on the front of the jacket on the left side along the spine. The largest is about 1 inch (see photo). There are a couple along the top of the front of the jacket that are maybe 1/4-1/2 inch that are noticeable when the light hits them just right. The two corners on the right side have some soft signs of wear but not major (see photo).

The back of the jacket shows some soft signs of wear in the corners (see photos). On the right side, along the spine there are a couple of small creases that are about 1/4-1/2 inch (see last photo that highlights these).

I am trying to be as thorough as possible with this description because I want the buyer to be more than happy when they receive the album and I try to set appropriate expectations. A lot of sellers give very generalized gradings of the jacket and I’ve been disappointed many times and I don’t want my buyers to feel that. Minus these light imperfections this jacket is in excellent condition. I hesitate to give grades because it’s very subjective from one collector to another but if I had to I would grade it VG+. It’s not all worn out and flimsy like a lot of punk record jackets get from this era. It has held up very well over the years as I have kept it in a resealable plastic sleeve for the last 25 years.

The lyric insert sheet has a bend in one of the corners otherwise it’s in good shape (see photo).

The vinyl itself sounds absolutely amazing. I have only played it a handful of times. I played it today in it’s entirety and had no issues with playback. They did an excellent job with this recording. Visually the album is in excellent condition. Very light if any signs of wear. Still has that sweet vinyl shine. It played on my turntable flawlessly but I would recommend giving it a cleaning as records of this age are likely to have some dust build up of some kind or another in the grooves even if you can’t see it and just because it plays flawless on one setup doesn’t mean dust can’t affect it on another. I did not clean it because it played without issue on my turntable and if it needs any cleaning I’d prefer the new owner to be able to clean it with their preferred process. I have never cleaned this album because it has only been out of the resealable sleeve a handful of times.

Please ask any questions prior to purchase. I know this is a long description but with rare albums I really want someone to know exactly what to expect. Thanks for looking and reading!
