Description
Michael Coleman, The Musical Glory of Old Sligo (IRC 3327) (1967). Rare US reissue of the great Irish fiddler's recordings, produced by a group of admirers. Tracks include "The Boys of the Lough", "Humors of Ennistymon", "Murray's Fancy", "Jackson's Jig", "The Grey Goose", "Dr Gilbert", "Kerryman's Daughter", "Bird in the Tree", "Lady of the House", "Liverpool Hornpipe", &c. Not a top-quality pressing.
Condition: disc shows some signs of wear but no scratches. Jacket is worn and grubby, with numerous creases, and one corner is neatly magic-taped. The first collector-oriented reissue of Coleman's historic recordings, probably in a limited edition, and uncommon.
