Description
This is an unusual early UK pressing of Emerson, Lake and Palmer's "Pictures At An Exhibition" LP, as it has a Side 1 label on both sides of the disc. It was released on Island in 1971 (black label with a pink "i") and has the catalogue number HELP 1. The gatefold sleeve is in Excellent- condition and the disc is Very Good+. The disc has A - 1 B - 1 matrix identifiers in the run-out grooves. It also comes with the period blue inner sleeve that has the Island logo and Basing Street address.
On one of the labels, somebody has marked an "x" at the top of the pink "i" design. Perhaps this was done to signify the mistake? The music on the record is unaffected; the side with the A - 1 matrix identifier plays Side 1 and the side with the B - 1 matrix identifier plays Side 2.
