Description
This is the hard to find "In The Year 2525" on the Truth Records label...Purchased out of an estate with many radio station promo records in Zager and Evans hometown. The duo saved up $500 to make 1,000 records on the Truth Label..this one was probably given to the station by them personally in 1968...the song gained regional success and the duo was quickly signed by RCA...the song 2525 would go on to chart number one and stay there for 6 weeks in 1969...this song was the number one song in the country when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin stepped foot on the Moon....The record is in very good shape..It plays perfectly, but I do see some very minimal surface scratches..moreso on the B side "Little Kids".
