Description
THIS IS A VERY RARE ITEM.
IF YOU ARE READING THIS, YOU WILL ALREADY KNOW THAT HERE IS A VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE A VERY RARE 12" LP VINYL RECORD.
Artist; JADE WARRIOR Title; RELEASED Format; 12" LP Vinyl Record. Year; 1971 Label; VERTIGO Cat. No. 6360 062 RELEASE NOTES; IT'S THE EARLIEST U.K. 1st PRESSING. GATEFOLD SLEEVE THAT OPENS OUT INTO A 6 PANEL POSTER. ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE IS OF THE LARGE VERTIGO SWIRL DESIGN. FOR CONDITION APPRAISAL, READ ON: Condition Appraised by using Goldmine Standard Grading System Please see the following link; http://www.recordcollectorsguild.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=17&page=1 AN HONEST & CRITICAL APPRAISAL IS AS FOLLOWS; VINYL; VERY GOOD+ / VERY GOOD++ (PERHAPS ALMOST CLOSE TO -M/NM DEPENDANT ON OPINION). The vinyl has a lovely sheen and at first glance looks hardly played. However, upon closer inspection in bright, natural light (sunlight), the vinyl does have a number of very small, very very light 'feathered'/'wispy' style hairlines/marks. I have concluded that due to the otherwise lovely sheen and condition, these are probably much more consistent with the vinyl repeatedly being in & out of the inner sleeve over the years rather than being overplayed. These 'whisps' are impossible to highlight in the pictures but what you will see the very nice sheen. The labels are in nice, unmarked condition. Spindle wear looks very minimal, if at all noticeable. Perhaps, time could be taken by the winning bidder to gently clean & rejuvenate the vinyl but regardless of the flaws in condition, is still a lovely record & should play fine with only very low and/or minimal surface noise, if any. 6-PART GATEFOLD POSTER SLEEVE & VERTIGO SWIRL INNER; VERY GOOD+ The gatefold 6-part poster sleeve has legible, non-scuffed spine but has 5-7mm of very light freying to top corner. As to be expected considering its age, it has very slight suggestion of general age related storage wear. Consequently, slight discolouration & a few light blemishes to the front & back outers of GF sleeve (when folded), but not overly noticeable. What may appear in the pictures to be split/scuffed/damaged seams/folds are in fact the slight discolouration. (I'm referring to when the GF sleeve fold out nicely into the poster & the paler edges of the seams/fold look like they are split/scuffed/damaged when in fact they are not). Whilst it is not perfect by any means, its fragile nature does still retain integrity of purpose, notwithstanding the issues stated here on can be seen in the pictures. The original Vertigo Large Swirl inner sleeve is not split at sides or base but does have a light, minor discolouration mark along the top edge of one side & also has the numerals '45' written on top corner. The other side also has slight discolouration along opening edge but is not written on I'd like to think that the 12 pictures will do justice to this item, but most likely they will not because the record AND the sleeves needs to be seen in the flesh to be properly appreciated ! This record will only be sent by a fully insured, tracked and signed for service, wherever it gets shipped to across the world. POSTAGE OUTSIDE OF THE UK MAINLAND WILL ONLY BE DONE VIA THE EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAMME. IF YOU ARE UNSURE OR DO NOT WISH TO USE THIS SERVICE, THEN PLEASE DO NOT BID.
