Description

One of the very rarest Jamie Reid / Sex Pistols posters ever! This genuine (1978) “Cosh the Driver” - is a banned promotional poster for the release of The Sex Pistols – No One Is Innocent, (A Punk Prayer by Ronnie Biggs) Virgin VS 220 single from June 30th 1978. It depicts Briggs recoiling, about to throw a punch – Threatening the promise of violence to the viewer.

This promo poster relates to the fifth single released by the Sex Pistols. It was originally titled Cosh The Driver, after Ronnie Bigg's role in the The Great Train Robbery of 1963, but due to the likely ban – the title was changed to No One Is Innocent. Biggs collaborated with the band in South America after singer Johnny Rotten left during their US tour in 1978. Overall in very nice condition, which benefits from having been professionally framed with conservation UV Protective glass.

Jamie Reid / Sex Pistols original poster artwork from back in the day are becoming very hard to find!
