Description
Up for auction is a rare original double-sided deep groove pressing of HANK MOBLEY,with ART FARMER,trumpet,HORACE SILVER,piano,GOUG WATKINS,bass,and ART BLAKEY,drums.....this is a real collector piece,FIRST pressing,double sided DEEP GROOVE,FLAT EDGE.Label is 47 w.63rd NEW YORK 23,no inc,no "r".....probably 1954 or 1955 at latest.....laminated cover is VG+ with seams repaired with high gloss clear tape,as good a job as ive ever seen.....back side is really clean,no staining really to speak of,just age related wear...overall very nice. VINYL is a solidVG+,with a few lite marks only,and labels are pretty clean,no significant spindle marks.......obviously not mint,but very nice condition.........an original flat edge BLUE NOTE in very presentable and listenable condition. please email w/ any questions.I am a jazz pianist and recording artist,and am just beginning to sell some of my collection..please know these are my babies and have been meticulously cared for.Keep checking back to see new listings.
