COVER: VG
RECORD: VG-
NOTES: Extremely rare early example of Jim Henson art on an LP record cover that had a very small pressing. The Henson artwork presents well. Cover has tape repair to top and bottom seam. The 2 organists signed the back cover. The record has an edge warp that may affect the playing of the first track depending on your turntable setup. I could get it to play through ok but had to adjust tonearm tracking. But the cover is the important thing here and this would look great in a frame for the serious Henson collector. One other copy came up last year and it was in worse shape and from a questionable seller and still got $184.
GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.
I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
