*RARE* JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE LP - AXIS: BOLD AS LOVE - TRACK 612 003. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class. COVER: There are a few creases in the laminate, 1.5cm damage to bottom edge of the front gatefold section. Slight wear on corners but no damage to spine. small damage to the open edge of the rear gatefold section. Colours are strong and vibrant. RECORD: On side 1 there are two superficial scratches and a few hairline scratches on side 2 but none are detectable by touch. The output is crisp and clear with a rich depth of sound. The short intro track of side 1 has a little surface noise at the start then none throughout the side, between tracks it is silent. Side 2 is also free of surface noise but there is a one groove forward skip at the start of track 1. Because of this I have downgraded what would otherwise have been graded EX or EX+ to VG+ All tracks have been checked and played in full and at sufficiently loud volume using a Citronic Pro PD-1s MK2 direct drive turntable, QSC GX3 power amp and Sonus Faber speakers.
