This is one of the scarcest, RAREST and most sought after UK Vertigo pressing to ever find Original 1st UK stereo pressing! This vinyl has hardly been played and the vinyl looks and sounds superb, rare to find in this condition.
This is also complete with the original Company Vertigo Reverse sleeve and the original 1st issue die cut gatefold cover printed by Howards printers.
The vinyl with #1 1and #1 1 matrix boasts being pressed from the earliest\first masters which produce the best ever audio on vinyl that can not be surpassed in any other format.
Blue is a progressive rock \ blues album released in 1972 on the Vertigo spiral labels in the UK by the ''John Dummer Blues Band'' featuring Nick Pickett on vocals and violin this combination of awesome top artists and musical expertise on this album has made this very scarce album extremely desirable indeed.
The Vinyl
This is the original thick vinyl only found on these original 1st pressings. The vinyl shows virtually no signs of previous use and has a wonderful new gloss like finish. It is quite obvious that this vinyl has not been played very much at all. Superb near mint condition with only the lightest hairlines and sleeve removal only. No needle or any audio sounding marks on the vinyl at all! Excellent condition for arguably one of the most desirable vertigo UK pressing on vinyl!!!!
The Audio Quality
Play Grades excellent with superb dynamic and vibrant audio. The audio is clear with no distortion or other audio distraction. Stunning audio separation throughout. No clicks, pops and no background noise. The best copy I have ever heard!
The Labels
These are the original Vertigo spiral labels, 1st UK press in excellent condition.
The Gatefold Sleeve
This is the original orange unlaminated Die Cut gatefold cover, made and printed by Howard Printers, Slough in England (only 1st press). These are extremely difficult and very rare to ever find in good condition like this. There are only a few light creases, and shelf wear and just one very small crease in the die cut cloud.The spine is strong and straight with all text clear and legible and the spine is lovely and square as it should be! The die cuts are generally sharp and crisp. EX
The Vertigo Inner Sleeve
This is the original Vertigo Company (Reversed logo) record sleeve! Correct for this issue! With no splits.
