Description

Hello- I'm Bill, and over the next few weeks I'll be selling off my treasured record collection, a course of action forced on me by an imminent move and enforced retirement. I've collected music all my adult life, and will be sad to see it all go . My tastes have varied over the years, as you'll see, but folk and rock have been the backbone of my collection.Over the next few weeks there will be some rarities appearing, believe me! All records will be in at least EX condition, and a lot of NM's too. I'm loathe to use NM, once it's played, it's played, but I try to stick to the RC guidelines, even if my grading is too severe! All records are inspected under a good light, and none are cleaned, only brushed. I know everyone has their own favourite cleaning methods, so why deprive you of the pleasure?

Now back after a longer than expected hospitalisation and recovery, I’m fit and back on course. Many apologies to those of you who have been waiting to see what comes next. Hopefully this weekend’s offerings will satisfy!......Bill.

One for the blues fans now- or really anyone who likes good music.

John Mayall certainly provides that. Not just top British blues man, but one of the best ever, anywhere.

The cover has a laminated front which is very clean and tidy. Ther is some edge wear, but the spine is actually very impressive. The back, not laminated, is a bit scruffy as expected. All in all, for a 40 year old, damned impressive.

The vinyl is very clean and shiny, with the faint marks caused by taking the record out of the sleeve . I have never found a better copy.
