Up for auction is the rare jazz 10inch LP, Prestige PRLP 165 from 1953, Billy Taylor Trio Vol. 2, with Billy Taylor on piano, Earl May on bass, and Charlie Smith on drums. Record label has the West 50th St. address, blue and silver "fireworks," deep groove, and the "ear" etched on the dead wax in both sides. 
Sleeve: NM-, with some age discoloration to the back cover, and a name written in ink along the top of the back. Otherwise seams are intact, no ringwear or dog-earring. 
Record: side 1 is NM-, with some very light scuffing; side 2 VG+, has a few light needle trails and one scratch in the third track. 

I am a university professor of music here in the US who inherited this and other records (Blue Note, Norgran, Impulse!, Columbia, Prestige, Fantasy, Riverside, etc.) from a collector and former radio DJ a few years back. I am looking to sell off some of these records to collectors/audiophiles who can get more enjoyment out of them than I can.
