Description
Jimi Hendrix Experience 'Electric Jimi Hendrix'
1968 Track Records 2856 002
12" LP 33 1/3 RPM
Vinyl - Very good (with some scratches and noise)
Sleeve - Very good (with damage to edges and spine)
Known as one of the rarest Hendrix releases, this album was available for a very limited time, to a limited audience.
In '68 this album of sides 2 and 4 from the upcoming 'Electric Ladyland' album were released to a select number of buyers as part of 'The Audio Club Of Great Britain'. Hendrix and the band apparently weren't pleased, and had it recalled - with around 200 (some say) copies going into circulation.
I AM NOT A RECORD DEALER OR COLLECTOR, so try to describe and photograph this as well as possible:
The cover shows the signs of being pulled in and out of a collection, with the circular rubbing etc. There is a scar where a price sticker has been removed. The spine is showing signs of wear and tear (see photos).
The record does not skip, but has noticeable crackle during quieter parts of the album. I have just had the vinyl cleaned on a professional Moth machine, and the record comes with inner sleeve and clear plastic outer.
The postage price will be for a 'Signed For' service, and I will buy whatever materials necessary to make sure it's safe, dry, and flat. You can, of course, come and collect it yourself.
