INFO
'....ORIGINAL One of THE all-time funky 45 classics of all time – a hard-burning, James Brown-styled number that was cooking things up in the underground years before 7" singles first started changing hands for thousands on Ebay! "Pull My Coat" is one of those tunes you'll know from the very first note – a flurry of messy saxophone notes sliding alongside snapping drums – all in a really JBs-sounding sort of groove, and topped off by super raw vocals from Eddy! "Love" is great too – a very different side of Eddy's talents – because although there's a flurry of fast drums at the beginning, the tune is mostly a slow tripped-out number with a great spoken lyric, floating electric piano, and a ballad quality that's totally great. Drums still snap on the bottom, giving the mellow track a nice undercurrent of funk!. ...'
