Yet another classic LP to be auctioned from an absolutely outstanding collection of records which used to belong to a well-known record reviewer. We here at Stamford Audio have never before seen such an amazing collection, and such a sterling one in this kind of outstanding condition is a rarity indeed.
The Kinks' classic 'Are The Village Green Preservation Society' LP on fantastic Pye MONO NPL 18233. It's not often one of these comes up for auction, and certainly not in this lovely condition! Matrix numbers are A-3W and B-3W.
The laminated gatefold sleeve grades EX, with a little laminate lift at the spine edge, the ghost of a sticker top left, and a couple of very light spine creases. It's a lovely sleeve with only these few extremely minor flaws.
The vinyl is in super condition, a few light marks on tracks 5 and 6 on side one cause a few clicks here and there, but this LP easily grades EX and plays superbly.
This LP came from the collection of a well-respected music journalist and we will be listing more of his wonderful records very soon - check our other items.
