ABOUT THIS RECORD
This is a genuinely collectible and increasingly difficult-to-find Russian/French pressing of Kino – “Le Dernier Des Héros”, one of the most iconic releases connected to the legendary Soviet rock band led by Victor Tsoi.
For many collectors, Kino is not simply a band — it is a cultural phenomenon. Victor Tsoi became the voice of an entire generation during the late Soviet era, and original pressings like this remain highly desired worldwide by collectors of Soviet underground music, post-punk, new wave and cold-wave history.
This particular edition is especially interesting because it is the uncommon Russian Disc / Volya Productions DMM pressing with French track listing design and export-style presentation. The existence of this album in this specific format is already considered rare among Kino collectors.
