Description
THIS IS A RARE COPY OF THE LAL AND MIKE WATERSON LP “BRIGHT PHOEBUS” REISSUED IN THE UK ON THE HIGHWAY TRAILER LABEL AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN MINT CONDITION! EVEN MORE AMAZING, THE SUPERB GATEFOLD COVER IS IN ALMOST MINT CONDITION. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is LES 2096 on the UK HIGHWAY TRAILER label.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks. I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SHORTLY AFTER IT CAME OUT AND IT HAS ONLY BEEN PLAYED A COUPLE OF TIMES AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO groovewear, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The strongly made cover is in NEAR MINT condition! It has NO wear to the spine. There are NO creases, NO rubbing, NO writing and NO ringwear. There are absolutely NO blemishes at all to the front cover The only sign of wear to the back cover is the SLIGHTEST wear to the EXTREME top left corner of the back cover. The only sign of wear to the gatefold is the SLIGHTEST wear to the EXTREME top and bottom right corners. There is some MINOR edgewear to the back cover where the LP is inserted/removed (see pictures). The cover is firm and strong. Essentially it looks as though it has just been manufactured. I try to be very precise with my descriptions and always find some blemishes on even the most well preserved cover but there is VERY LITTLE to report here. The cover LOOKS AND FEELS ALMOST BRAND NEW!
I TRY TO MAKE MY DESCRIPTIONS OF THE CONDITION OF ITEMS VERY PRECISE.
SEE FEEDBACK FROM MY RECENT BUYERS AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE.
THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE UK LP TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! DONT MISS OUT!
For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover. All items are fully insured.
