GATEFOLD SLEEVE - ORIGINAL DARK COVER - KILLING FLOOR
Original UK stereo LP, release date 1969 on the PLUM & RED Atlantic label.

Condition of cover/record: EX / EX+ (Grading as used by Record Collector)
The cover is in excellent condition, clean, gatefold format, unlaminated, flat matt finish and is the very early DARK version. Front cover has a couple of tiny 1/2 inch creases at the spine edge. Very unobtrusive and hardly noticible. The rear cover also has some very minor creasing and very, very minor ringwear, again harly noticible. There is minor rubbing to the top and bottom edges and spine with slightly more at the corners. The gatefold inside is pristine - looks like new! The spine has the predictable gatefold crease but is strong and sharp with clear writting. Great condition for the age and grades a STRONG EX
The inner sleeve is the original plain white one with a clear plastic center and is in good condition.
The two PLUM labels are vivid and clean, new looking, with some light spindle marks, which can be seen under angled bright light, but are very unobtrusive. Track 3, "Lemon Song" is listed as "Killing Floor", a rare error and only found on this original pressing! On the vinyl, a few light surface marks on either side can be seen at an angle under a bright light but in no way do they affect play. A few very feint crackles are audible during the quiet passages but there are no clicks, pops or background/surface noise. The record has a wonderful glossy shine and plays like new, producing a beautiful warm tone with clearity and a lot of punch. Truly stunning audio - you can really hear why this is such a collectable pressing! A STRONG EX+
