ABOUT THIS ITEM -
This item comes from the personal collection and historical archives of Greg Laxton, who was the music historian behind the Link Wray website for the past 20 years. Greg has been a Link Wray archivist, historian and collector for over 40 years. Greg was a consultant and appeared in the Link Wray segment of the Canadian Screen Awards and Sundance award-winning “Rumble” documentary.
Greg has contributed liner notes for various Link Wray recording projects, and written the acceptance speeches for several awards ceremonies. He was intimately involved with the Wray Estate and Link Wray festivals. He has been the source of several rare Link Wray photographs and recordings, including the Rumble documentary, and most recently the long lost “Son of Rumble” recordings. He has been interviewed for numerous articles, radio shows, and books on Link Wray.
Over the coming few weeks, we will be listing Greg’s entire Link Wray collection - from the entry level collectible to the “rarest of the rare.”
