Description
NEW BREED - The Many Moods Of (US-Private,1970) Local PA 4 man band with - according to the program director of the WHYL Radio Station in Carlisle, PA - "some of the freshest sound I've ever heard". 5 of 8 songs are self-composed, 1 is a James Brown cover, 1 is a Porter/Hayes cover and 1 a Delaney Bramlett cover. On the self-composed songs you hear no horns but sometimes nice guitar, on the other songs who are more in a soul-psych direction there are horns. Has 3 stars in Hans Pokora's first book (1001 Record Collectors Dreams), is not mentioned in "Fuzz, Acid & Flowers" and to my knowledge never offered on ebay before. The record is M- and the cover in Vg+ with some ring wear. RARE!
