Cosmic Jokers - Galactic Supermarket - Astonishing condition, looks unplayed!
LP, on the Kosmische Musik label, KM 58010, from 1974. This is an ORIGINAL GERMAN PRESSING, of a rare German progressive experimental space rock album.

....Soaring space-rock jams that touch on funk, dub, prog and psychedelia recorded by a super group that never was. This is one of the best Lp's to come out of the seventies German rock scene.. ....Galactic Supermarket is the second release by Cosmic Jokers. The album was produced/scammed by Rolf -Ulrich-Kaiser. In 1973 Kaiser hosted several 'acid parties' at a recording studio , inviting musicans over to record/ jam in exchange for drugs. Unbeknown to the musicans Kaiser had secretly edited and mixed the sessions overdubbing the voice of Gille Lettmann, Kaisers girlfriend . Five Cosmic Jokers albums were released on his record label. The group only realised what Kaiser had been up to, when Jokers guitarist Manuel Göttsching asked a record shop assistant in Berlin the name of the space-rock group emaniting from the record store speakers. Presented with the album sleeve he was told it was the latest release by the Cosmic Jokers only to find press shot of himself staring right back at him. Göttsching went and told Klaus Shulze what Kaiser had been up to. Schulze sued Kaiser .In 1975 legal proceedings stopped the flow of Cosmic Jokers LP's. The game was up , ruining Kaiser who dissappeared into exile..
