LED ZEPPELIN 'Physical Graffiti' 1st UK Pressing - CAT NO: SSK 89400
Earliest Matrix to be found on eBay! A1 - B4 - C1 - D1
Very Very Rare 1st Uk Pressing. Rarely seen, both vinyls in excellent condition. Released February 24th 1975 on Led Zeppelin's own record Lable 'Swan Song'.
Must have for all serious Rock/Zeppelin fan's and record collectors.
Stored in Poly sleeve for the last 33 years!!!
All printing done in the UK, as marked, which was only the case for original pressings as later pressing were printed in Germany. As can be seen on the rear of the cover as it's printed "Swan Song/484 Kings Road London, SW10, A SwanSong/Atlantic Recording Distributed by Wea Records Ltd P&C 1975"
Includes original white insert with song track list.
The original album jacket for the LP included die-cut windows on the building shown on the cover. As the inner sleeves for the discs were inserted in different orientations, various objects and people would appear in the windows, including photos of the band members in drag. The two buildings photographed for the album cover are located at 96 and 98 St. Mark's Place in New York City, the same buildings Mick Jagger is in front of in the Rolling Stones music video "Waiting on a Friend"
The front surface of this sleeve is IMMACULATE. None of the windows have suffered any damage. The sleeve both looks and feels new!
